About Us Rachel Greenberg   Subjects: Elementary and Middle School Reading, Writing, Math, Study Skills, Science, Social Studies, Special Education   Rachel is the manager and founder of Tutoring Works.  She has been teaching elementary education since 2005.  She has her Masters of Education from University of Bridgeport and Bachelors degree from Quinnipiac University.   Rachel is currently working as a fourth grade teacher in the Trumbull Public Schools.  She has extensive one-on-one and group tutoring experience in grades K-9 in all subject areas, including study skills.   She believes that tutoring is the most rewarding method of education, and tailors each lesson to meet her students’ individual needs.  Rachel truly enjoys being part of her pupils’ successes.   Rachel also has a great deal of professional experience due to her past career in the promotional marketing field.  She attributes her success to her own enthusiasm to learning, commitment to personal and professional excellence, and bringing creativity into her lessons.  She believes in using a variety of instructional approaches (including technology) to fit the varied learning styles of each student.   In her spare time, Rachel loves to travel.  She has lived in Australia and enjoyed trips to South America, Europe, the Caribbean Islands, and to visit her brother in San Diego.  She is also a photography lover and will never leave home without her camera.
